From the Pastor
Your interest in Reading Moravian Church is greatly appreciated. The Moravian Church is the oldest Protestant church in continued existence – dating back to 1457. There have been many changed in these 550 years. Reading Moravian has been serving God in this community since 1914. And there have been changes here. What has remained the same I believe is reflected in our motto: In essentials, unity; in non-essentials, liberty; and in all things, love. While practicing the motto is not easy, however it is important
I believe we are all special children of God and loved by God just as we are. This grace has been brought to us through Jesus. We need to accept that love and follow as faithfully as we can the way of love revealed by Jesus.
We are engaged in the process of understanding Jesus’ message and sharing that message with others. God uses us to share his work. We are the hands and feet, the ears and mouth of God, and together we do his work in this world.
We welcome you to become a part of our fellowship.
