The theme is Joy on the Mountain,celebrating the Good News, Peace, and Salvation of our Lord.
Speakers - Two outstanding speakers will bring their wealth of experience to inspire and challenge us. Joanne Wallace is a respected media personality and author of many books, including The Image of Loveliness for which she won a Best Writer Award. Kim Bolton is a vocalist and musician, as well as author of the book, Conversations at the Girlville Diner.
Workshops - More than 20 workshops will be offered each day throughout the conference, focusing on specific topics including Our Body is a Temple, Our Spiritual Growth, The Challenges of Parenting, Stewardship, Bible Study, Moravian Studies.
Special Services and Events - The conference will open with a service of Holy Communion on the evening of June 27th and will close with a Lovefeast and Candlelight Service on June 30th. We will celebrate the different nations within our worldwide Unity at an International Night Banquet. We invite a few of you from each congregation to bring traditional national attire for our Parade of Nations.
Registration - Registration forms are available from Pastor Barbara or via the internet at www.moravianwomensconference.org. The final deadline for registration is March 15, 2007. Conference costs include a double occupancy room for four nights and meals beginning with dinner on Wednesday evening and concluding with breakfast on Sunday morning. Costs also include bus transportation from the airport on Wednesday and transportation back to the airport on Sunday. Every effort should be made to arrive between 1:00 pm and 6:00 pm on Wed., June 27, 2007.
Volunteers - The 2007 Women's Conference Planning Committee needs volunteers to help with various aspects of the conference. Those interested in volunteering should contact Pat Baldwin at (812) 546-5889 or at Peds4@hotmail.com with MWC2007 in the subject line.
