A Message from Pastor Rich:

Reading Moravian Church was organized on December 17, 1914.
We are a small congregation located in the Northeast section of
the city of Reading, PA, not far from Albright College and
Northeast Middle School.

All are welcome to attend our services on Sunday mornings at
10:15 a.m. The communion table is open to all denominations.
Adult Sunday School and Bible Study begins at 9:00 a.m. and
children's Sunday School is held during the worship service.
Ten confirmation students also meet at 9:00 a.m. and are required
to take notes during the sermon.

In addition to Sunday School, we have a senior choir, a youth choir,
a chapel choir and a brass choir. Traditionally, Moravians are very
musical. We practice infant and adult baptism by sprinkling.

We offer a Breakfast Club every Thursday morning for middle school
girls who are considered "at risk." We serve between 18 and 30 girls
and then engage them in a spiritual or biblical discussion before
they go to school.

Every year right before Lent we make and sell thousands of fastnachts
and also homemade easter egg candy (chocolate covered peanut butter
and chocolate covered coconut). Proceeds go toward special services.
Also during Lent we share with 7 other churches in NE Reading.
You can check the "calendar" site to see where each Wednesday service
is held.

Join me, and our congregation at Reading Moravian Church as we seek
to experience life to its fullest.
